Weight Loss

   Is weight loss eluding you like it is many of us? I myself have spent the better part of the last 5 years trying to lose weight with a combination of diet pills, food regimens and exercise. The problem with me has always been that any weight loss has been temporary, until I finally realized I HAD to change my diet and get some exercise.

Diet pills – Millions to choose from, but what works? And more importantly, are diet pills healthy? The market is flooded with appetite suppressants, weight loss pills, energy pills, etc. that all claim to help you lose weight. I would recommend staying away from the latter, especially if you have heart issues. While I have tried all of them to no avail, I am excited about the new pills on the horizon. A California company hopes to have a new weight loss pill on the market by late 2010. Patients in clinical trials lost an average of 3 to 10 percent of their weight after a year. I would love that….if I could also keep the weight off.

Anyway, I have lost 15 lbs over the last 6 months, and am holding strong. My goal is to lose 15 more over the next 6 months, and KEEP IT OFF. I welcome any of you to comment and check in once in a while to exchange advice and motivate one another.
